About Modern Goat Rider
Our Goals and Mission
The creaters, producers and guests of Modern Goat Rider are striving to present the members’ view of the guts and glory of Oddfellowship. We’ll talk about how Oddfellowship can work well (and when “$&^t happens”) while running lodges, or programs or events. Being Smart, Interesting and Fun will be part of every episode when the hosts take the listeners on journeys in the ways their membership impacts their everyday life and how they see it as the best decisions they have ever made.
Our Disclaimer

Our conversations will be open to the public with the purposes of inspiring conversation within our global membership and promoting beyond the Order.
Meet The Goat Riders
The Pod Father
Co-Host
Still considering himself a newbie to the Order, Billy joined Columbia Lodge #2 in 2017. At that time, he decided to sit back and watch how a Lodge operated. Ideas were floating around in his head as his day job of project management infiltrated his Odd Fellows experience. Within his second year, he had the courage to test himself with being involved in the historical, ceremonial and now the promotional sides of the lodge’s work. A fascination of what and why people believe motivates Billy’s openness to gain from the lessons of others.

As a 11-year veteran of Odd Fellows, Josh is looking for that next new opportunity in his career. Alongside of being a great family man he was a restaurateur for 16 years. Jumping into the podcast is a way for his enthusiasm for Odd Fellows to be channelled to a place where he can learn from other members and guests from outside the Order. In 2020, Josh became Noble Grand of Columbia Lodge #2, so his ability to adapt in our COVID world has been evident, so has his undying love for Odd Fellowship.
